This is one of the most enjoyable photo shoots to experience. You have been waiting for this a long time. We are here to celebrate your life and to capture the spirit of your heart in an image to share with your friends and family.
Every student has a uniquely different life because of their individual tastes and experiences. To prepare for each shoot, I meet with you to discuss your goals for the sitting and the type of locations and settings for your images. We discuss clothing, poses, smiles, focus, direction, light, and of course various locations which meet your criteria.
Clothing, make-up, and other tips.
I encourage my clients to include in their sittings objects which are special reminders of loved ones, represent hobbies, sporting activities, or fine arts interests. (dog tags, letter jackets, books, journals, jewelry, equipment in area of interest) Busy prints interfere with the attention on the individual. Use more solid colors. Make sure the wardrobe contains a variety of styles of clothing. Bring along anything needed for make-up and hair touch-ups. Hats make a good prop as well. Below are pictures of students to give you ideas of the possibilities.
The night time soccer shoot
This shoot certainly took me out of my "safe" zone. We had to get through many keep out signs and take down chains blocking the soccer field to get to the goal after dark. We drug out strobe lights, extension cords, and of course the generator in the back of the truck to run all the lights. We were very pleased with the results, despite having to dodge sprinklers in the dark.
